Please Help Save the Clark Family

My name is Sandra Crosson, and I want to tell you about my childhood friend, DARLENE PURNELL CLARK, whom I've known since I was 3 years old. She and her family are under attack spiritually, physically, emotionally and financially!  They are living in a war zone and are fighting for their very lives! Darlene is a Godfearing, loving, intelligent woman who is a very brittle diabetic.  She is hospitalized often because of her life threatening extremely high (600s) or extremely low (20s) blood sugar levels.  She is presently taking four different hypertensive medications and still experiences readings of 200s/100s.  Needless to say her kidneys are suffering under these conditions. Darlene lost her job April, 2015. She is married to a Godfearing man, who suffers from chronic lymphedema which affects his feet, ankles, legs and now has spread to his scrotum. This makes it extremely difficult for him to walk, sit, stand and get in and out of a vehicle.  As a result he is unable to work.  They have two children. Their daughter who was diagnosed with diabetes at age 11 and is now 26 years old, also experiences extreme highs and lows with her blood sugar levels.  However, she suffers with many other complications of diabetes and is often hospitalized for days at a time.  She has gastroparesis and bleeding and swelling behind both eyes which requires monthly shots. She also suffers with kidney disease and a neurogenic bladder which requires her to self catheterize several times a day. With these conditions it is impossible for her to maintain a job.  She applied for disability but was denied.  She plans to appeal the decision but who knows how long that will take. It could lirerally be years! Their son, a young man who desperately loves his family, but can't figure out how to help them, is now suffering from major depression and anger.  After Darlene's father died, she brought her mother to live with them. She is 89 years old, and suffers from congestive heart failure, COPD, is on oxygen, and has dementia. Despite her mother needing oxygen to survive, Potomac Electric Power Company (PEPCO) turned off all power to her home on 5/25/16 and refused to turn it back on unless payment of approximately $6,300.00 was made in full. As of today (6/13/16) power was restored, after a local government official interceded on their behalf and PEPCO accepted a partial payment after friends and family raised the money.  The remaining balance is around $4,500.00. The family's cell phones are shut off due to an outstanding bill and they owe approximately $2,000.00. This limits their ability to communicate with each other. The mortgage is behind 3 months and they owe a little over $3,300.00, and there's an outstanding water bill of about $350.00.  The family's vehicle was totalled when they were on their way to see their daughter in the hospital. There are also outstanding medical bills for three members of the family. There's more that I could tell you, but I think this is enough to show how grave their situation is.  EBT renewal benefits were denied; an appeal is in process, but agencies are often slow or don't respond when people are in crisis. DARLENE and her family need our help NOW! Through all of this, Darlene's trust and faith in God have never waivered.  She knows they will be delivered out of this Hell they're experiencing right here on earth and I know they will also WITH YOUR HELP!
