On Tuesday, September 21, 2022, around 4 am, Ashley and JJ Dasher were attacked in their home. They were both stabbed multiple times. One of JJ’s lungs collapsed, and both of Ashley’s did. Ashley had to have exploratory surgery, where they found a hole in her diaphragm; it has been repaired.
Their child slept through the entire thing and was awoken by the police and taken next door. He did not witness anything.
The attack was completely random. Ashley and JJ have no ties to who attacked them.
Because of the incident, Ashley and JJ have incurred the unexpected costs of medical bills and getting their home back in order. Ashley has not yet met her insurance deductible and needs $8,900 to cover it. The deductible for their home insurance is $1,000. They are also going to need therapy to help process the trauma.
JJ & Ashley own their own business, and this incident will impact their ability to keep it functioning.
We know many of you want to help and this is a way you can do that.
We have been forwarding your love to them as you have messaged us and called us. Thank you for loving them so big and for supporting them.
