Helping Duchess be herself again

The past few days I have noticed a change in Duchess' behavior. At first she started peeing uncontrollably and drinking way more water than usual so naturally I thought that those two things went hand in hand. The next day I noticed some bacteria as I was going to wash her bed I noticed she peed in as well. The next day I realized her food had been full and she hadn't touched it from the night before. She has also been very down won't take her ball or nothing and those of you that know duchess know that's not like her at all. I decided to give it one more day to see if any changes occurred but today made 3 days that she hasn't eaten. I took her to the vet for an emergency visit to find out that she could have a bacteria infection in her uterus that is fatal if surgery doesn't take place, she had an ultrasound and blood work done and turns out she has the infection. It's called "pyometra". This is a tough time for me being that I am on maternity leave but I would be lost without my fur baby. Please family and friends any bit to help keep Duchess healthy helps. The surgery costs $2000.00 and a healthy happy wiggles is worth way more than that to my family and I. Thanks everyone ❤️
