Service dog for Dominic

For the last 6 years I have been thinking about getting a service dog for my autistic son Dominic but it is a very expensive process that we have not been able to afford. The older he gets the more I see how one could greatly benefit him. Autism service dogs are trained to help with anxiety, mood swings, and meltdowns. They are also great for companionship which is something Dominic really needs. The cost of a service dog is between $13,000 and $20,000. Being a single income household there isn't much left to put towards a deposit let alone the entire cost of the dog and it's training.
