Help Paige Pay for Mental Healthcare!

Hi Folks! I’m starting a fundraiser for a dear friend of mine, Paige aka Jolene Cassidy. She is a trans woman who is utilizing a new to her type of therapy (DBT) to help her through a variety of mental illnesses. Due to Alberta Health Care having a 18 month wait for DBT, and Paige needing therapy now, she is finding this out of pocket. To do that she’s dipping into her surgery fund for breast augmentation, which she also needs to help fight dysphoria. She has already begun DBT, and I will keep folks updated on her progress. I’m a firm believer in lifting one another as a community as we go through major life transitions, and have been fortunate to be uplifted by my own community through life changes. I hope we can view this as a celebration of Paige, who is one of the best people I know! She has helped me emotionally and even financially in the 12 years I’ve known her, and I’d love to return the favor. Anything helps, and I’m launching this as a Christmas gift for her.
