ውድ ኢትዮጵያዊያንና የኢትዮጵያ ወዳጆች፣

በአሁኑ ወቅት ሀገራችን ኢትዮጵያ ከፍተኛ በሆነ የህልውና ስጋት ላይ ትገኛለች። ኢትዮጵያ ጠል በሆኑ የውጭና የውስጥ ሃይሎች እየተደገፈ ያለው የትህነግ ኃይል በሀገራችን በተለይም በአማራና አፋር አካባቢዎች ላይ እየፈጸመ ባለው ኢሰብአዊ ድርጊት ምክንያት ለቁጥር የሚያታክቱ ወገኖቻችን መኖሪያ ቀያቸውን ትተው እየተሰደዱ ይገኛሉ። ትርፍ ምርት አምርተው ሕዝብ ሲቀልቡ የነበሩ ወገኖቻችን ዛሬ ላይ ተመጽዋች ሆነው በከፍተኛ ችግር ላይ ይገኛሉ። በርካታ ቁጥር ያላቸው ወገኖቻችንም በጭካኔ ተረሽነዋል። ትህነግ “ኢትዮጵያን እኔ እንደፈለገሁ ካላደርኳት፤ አፈርሳታለሁ” በሚል የእብሪት አጀንዳ፤ ህጻናትና ሴት አዛውንቶች ሳይቀሩ፤ በጦር ግንባር አሰልፎ፤ እያተራመሰ ይገግናል። ይህንንም የትሕነግ ሴራ ለመቀልበስ እርሻቸውን ትተው የተሰለፉ ወገኖቻችንም አስቸኳይ የሆነ ድጋፍና የእኛ አጋርነት ያስፈልጋቸዋል። ሀገራችንን ከትህነግ ሴራ አላቀን ለቀጣይ ትውልድ የማስረከብ ግዴታ አለብን።

ይህንን የሰብአዊ ድጋፍ በአፋጣኝ መንገድ ለማድረስ ይረዳን ዘንድ ይህን የገቢ ማሰባሰቢያ ከፍተናል።

በቀጣይም በAugust 7, 2021 በዳላስ ከተማ ልዩ የሆነ የገቢ ማሰባሰቢያ ፕሮግራም አዘጋጅተናል።

የሀገራችን ሕልውና የሚያሳስባችሁና ለወገኖቻችሁ የምትቆረቆሩ ወገኖቻችን ይህን ጥረት በተቻላችሁ መጠን ታግዙ ዘንድ። ሃገራዊና ወገናዊ ጥሪያችንን እናቀርባለን።

Dear Ethiopians and Friends of Ethiopia

Ethiopia at the moment is experiencing a serious security problem that threatens its very existence. TPLF with the support of internal and external enemies of Ethiopia declared an all-out war in the Amhara and Afar regional states. The armed conflict is driving tens of thousands of people to flee their homes, their land, and their jobs creating a massive humanitarian crisis.

TPLF is the cause of this crisis from the get-go, and they are hell-bent on continuing to cause more harm to the people especially women and children. TPLF has chosen “my way or the highway” and reports indicate that this group is recruiting under-aged children and elderly women for this conflict. The humanitarian situation at the moment is alarmingly dire and could further deteriorate if immediate action is not taken.

Concerned Ethiopians from the Dallas-Fort Worth metropolitan area organized this fundraising to help the displaced families that need our urgent help. We call upon all Ethiopians and friends of Ethiopia to contribute to this cause as much as you can. This is a conflict that Ethiopian has never experienced before in terms of its magnitude and severity, and we urge everyone’s participation to mitigate the situation.

The fund will be withdrawn by the head of our fundraising team, Temesgen Anagaw , and it will be used to provide the much needed humanitarian assistance in Ethiopia, particularly to those IDPs in the Amhara Region in Ethiopia.
