COVID pneumonia strikes again
Donation protected
Hi everyone. I’m fundraising for my mom. A few weeks ago she fell ill and didn’t go to the doctor as she thought it was just the everyday change in season crud. On Dec 19, I called the ambulance because her breathing wasn’t right. On Monday Dec 21st she was admitted into the hospital with bilateral pneumonia and COVID.
Bilateral interstitial pneumonia is a serious infection that can inflame and scar your lungs. It's one of many types of interstitial lung diseases, which affect the tissue around the tiny air sacs in your lungs. You can get this type of pneumonia as a result of COVID-19. Bilateral types of pneumonia affect both lungs.
She’s currently on high flow oxygen and still very week. Another day or 2 unattended and she would’ve died IAW her dr. They have her on 2 of the best yet most expensive antibiotics Although she has Insurance, it’s not the best and this is going to leave her with a substantial bill from the hospital not to mention the oxygen equipment she will need when she gets to go home. There’s also no guarantee when she will be able to return to work.
These funds will help with bills and any home equipment needed. Anything no matter how small will help her. $5, $10... it all adds up. Please pray and if you feel led to give, do so. Thank you & God Bless.
