Paddy McStravog

On December 30, 2020, Patrick McStravog of Donaghmore, County Tyrone, Ireland, was in a deadly car accident on Kelly drive that resulted in the death of his friend and boss Paul Young {County Cork, Ireland) and left Paddy and another passenger, Scott Ball (Philadelphia, PA), in critical condition in the hospital. Paddy has been a member of the Kevin Barry Gaelic Football club since March of 2019. He works as a bricklayer and will be out of work for the foreseeable future. Due to the extent of his injuries Paddy will be needing accommodation that is wheelchair accessible. He is also going to need financial help for an extensive rehabilitation program that he will undergo in order to get back on his feet. Paddy has been an active and integral member of the GAA and Philadelphia Irish community since coming here and will greatly appreciate any help or contribution small or large. Paddy is also a member of Na Toraidhe Hurling club.
