Our friend, classmate, neighbor, loved one, is in the fight of her life. She is battling brain cancer for the second time. As you can imagine, this is terrifying. Please find anything you can spare and help her family.
On May 29th of 2012, Natalie collapsed. She was taken by ambulance to the hospital. While at the hospital, she was awake but was unable to speak for hours. Many tests were run. It was found that Natalie had a brain tumor. Within two days, she was having brain surgery to remove the tumor.
Natalie is a 1994 graduate of Onalaska. She is married and the mother of two daughters. Natalie took on the brain tumor with incredible strength. She had surgery to remove the tumor on May 31, 2012 and then completed chemo. This was a hard time for the family, emotionally as well as financially.
She was winning the battle! She was back to helping others in the kind, caring manner, she always has had. Growing up with the challenges I have had, Natalie was a true and loyal friend when I didn't think I had very many.
In mid April 2016, just a week before her 40th birthday, a regular scan came back showing signs of concern. The brain tumor had returned. Devastating news, to say the least. On her 40th birthday, she started this fight all over again. She didn't cry that day but there have been many tears.
If you are feeling overwhelmed with all this, imagine how her daughters feel. Let's do something for Natalie and her family. Let's help ease the burden of the unknown expenses. She needs our help!
