Ft McMurray Friends Need Support

My good friend Qudsia, her husband Abdurrahman and their two beautiful young daughters have been displaced since the big fire in Ft McMurray. They came to stay with me in Saskatoon immediately following evacuation. A week later, the U of S student residence kindly put them up for free. (Thank you U of S residence for your kindness!) Just as the time was approaching to return to Ft McMurray, another fire this week consumed most of their apartment building.

The misfortunes this family has experienced have been more than anyone should ever bear, especially as this family enters Ramadan.  In addition, Abdurrahman is an Imam and is couragously supporting the Ft McMurry Muslim community while coping with his own tragedy.
Qudsia is an amazing mom who is doing the best she can under the circumstances. Her courage and humility is extraordinary.
I hope that you can support this campaign and help this family start over. I am so grateful they were not harmed in either fire, but they have lost so much. They only have the few clothes they originally left with when the big fire began.
