Trish's Medical and Family Support
Donation protected
Hi, my name is Nikki Bernstein, and I am Trish Beattie's friend. As many of you know, Trish has been in the hospital since Sunday, May 29th. She has not been definitively diagnosed, but she is extremely ill.
Trish is one the hardest working women I know. She not only educates our children at the VOS JCC ECC, she is a nanny, a babysitter, a chef, and a single mom of 3 growing boys.
While Trish has been in the hospital, she has received support from her ex-husband and her friends. Many of you have made calls and reached out to ask how you can help. Here is your opportunity.
Ali Steiman and I have put together a plan for while Trish is at the hospital and while she rehabs at either a facility or at home. We will stock her fridge weekly, get her a microwave, pay her bills, and check in on her kids. Her disability insurance claim has been made, but we do not know when it will begin, so covering her expenses is imperative. The younger boys are at camp thanks to Kim Subrin. April Schaeffer is looking after Trey in the evenings and weekends, and TJ and Trevor are staying at home.
When Trish is better, she will have exorbitant medical bills. The focus of this GoFundMe is to help her with those expenses at the end, and cover her daily expenses as well. Note: if there are funds leftover after paying all the medical bills and confirming Trish is well, the remainder will be donated to charity.
Receiving your support will take the burden of expenses off Trish’s mind. She will be able to focus on mending and taking care of herself. Time is the greatest gift and your contribution will give her that.
We will be forever grateful. We have seen what can happen when we pull together to help someone in need. Let’s do this!
Thank you for your support and taking the time to read this note. Trish has touched so many of our lives, our children’s lives, or our grandchildren’s lives, and she needs our help. Please be generous and give what your heart tells you.
