We are Lorena Bruzzone and Manuel Sanchez.
We came to United States on 2016 and worked for two years on everything we could until we got the chance to open our business. We opened Lalore Cafe on june 2018, full of dreams and making 2 loans and putting all our hopes on it.
Unfortunately, this year was too hard for us as for many other businesses and now we are struggling trying to safe our loved cafe and not ending homeless.
On march we had to survive with takeout orders only for ten weeks.
On november one member of the staff tested positive for covid and we decided to close for 10 days to be safe.
And now on december Lorena tested positive, being the chef and the only person that prepares everything in the kitchen. We had to close and lost all the food and ingredients. We have no insurance and both have been at the emergency room. We have been closed for 3 weeks now and we were trying to open January 4 but now Lorena realized she cant do anythibg by herself yet because she is having too many after symptoms.
We have too many debts from the business and medical bills, and now we feel desesperate and afraid of losing the only thing we have and ending on the street.
If you would like to help us get out of all the debts we have aquired we thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
