Michelle & Krissy's Transplant Fund

My name is Pam Toedter and I have the privilege of working with Krissy Silence (pictured left) and Michelle Birdsell (right). This July, Krissy will be donating her kidney to Michelle. I hope that by sharing their unique story we can rally the community around these courageous women.

Krissy and Michelle have only been coworkers for two years and don't know each other outside of work. Still, when Krissy heard that Michelle needed a new kidney, Krissy knew that somehow she would be a donor match. Without hesitation, Krissy took the necessary tests and discovered she was right. The surgery is scheduled for the third week in July.  

These ladies need our help. Both women are the sole source of income for their household. Being off work for at least 6 weeks with mounds of medical bills could be devastating. All money raised will go directly to Krissy and Michelle to cover medical expenses and time off work.
