Delia's Medical Expense Fund

We are seeking help for our friend Delia Wroblewski who is having a very unlucky year. In October 2015 she was diagnosed with uterine cancer and had a hysterectomy. During her illness she accumulated many bills and used all of her vacation and medical leave from work.  Then, bad luck struck again in May. Delia fell and broke her tibia and fibula requiring surgery to repair her leg.  She is currently immobile and in rehab. Her doctor has told her she will not able to return to work until December 2016. Delia’s insurance will not pay for rehab much longer even though she will be unable to put any weight on her leg for another two months.  Because of this, she will need to use a wheel chair.  This means she will be sent home with the inability to move around most of her home. Once again, she is going to face financial hardship because not only will she not be working, but there are many medical purchases she will need to make so her home is safe.  Delia lives alone and has no financial help which makes this situation even more difficult.

Anyone who knows Delia knows that she is very giving, empathetic and kind person. She is quick to help others when they are in need. Her one true love is being with the children at Hudson Country Montessori. She cherishes the moments she gets to spend with them and their families. These next 6 months of recovery will be very hard on her both emotionally and financially. 

Together, please, let's help her while she recovers and gets back on her feet.
