Farrah's Fight
Donation protected
Our brave friend Farrah has an almighty fight on her hands.
Farrah is 37 years young and a proud Mum of two babies under 2. She is battling Stage 3 Breast Cancer and currently undergoing aggressive treatment (Chemo & Radiotherapy) to fight the cancer, she will require surgery (more than likely a mastectomy) also.
Just over 10 weeks ago she gave birth to a beautiful baby boy, Rhylan. Farrah, her long time partner Brad and their (17 month old) little girl Lehnae were so happy to welcome their little boy into their family. The shocking news of Farrah's diagnosis was broken the day after Rhylan was born and Farrah's treatment started less than 3 weeks later.
Farrah and Brad had tried IVF three times over 4 years (with no success) to have a family so imagine their surprise when they were blessed with not one but two babies concieved naturally. I cannot fathom how hard it must've been to hear the devastating news so close to giving birth. The roller coaster of emotions they would've had to deal with.
Her bravery has been inspirational and she has made it her mission to remind other women to be vigilant and check their breasts regularly.
Farrah's Chemotherapy is every second week and currently been administered in triple doses to attack the aggressive cancer.
Brad, along with their amazing family and friends all rally to help with the children and caring for Farrah who is feeling the awful effects of the treatment whilst determined to care for her babies. Brad works mostly afternoons which means he is unable to be with his family to help in the evenings. This is really tough on the whole family and to make matters worse Brad has to take substantial time off work shortly to have surgery on a (longterm) back injury.
It would be fantastic if we could work together for this young family who are facing some extremely tough challenges and contribute a small donation which will surely ease some pressure.
I urge you to not only share this link to raise funds for Farrah & her family but to remind your loved one's and friends to check your breasts and be vigilant. Let's get more awareness out there. It truly is so important.
Thank you
