Avoiding Foreclosure and Buying Heating Oil
Donation protected
Hi there. My name is Kimberly Brocklehurst and I have been fighting for almost a year to get my Unemployment benefits that I filed for in March of 2020 when Gov. Hogan shut down the malls. I have done television interviews, print interviews, and nothing has changed. Since then, I have blown through my savings, been unable to continue my cancer treatments, and due to this, as some of you may know, I had a mild stroke a few months back.
My entire family died back in 2018, which is a tragedy I won't get into, but that leaves just me, and I'm at the point where I need help desperately. Between needing $1500 by the first of February to stave off foreclosure on my house, I also have no heat in my house, and I have shut off notices for my utilities.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. I have tried to apply for food stamps, emergency cash assistance, energy assistance, etc, but I have either been denied or ignored due to the overwhelming amount of applications.
Thank you very much for your help. And here's to a better year for all of us!
