It all started in 2006 when my mom started to lose her balance and fall. She was extremely health conscious and always exercised daily. We have watched her decline over the years. The woman who once loved to swim and walk could no more. I watched her try to swim when the disease first hit her, her feet just sank and she couldn't stay afloat. It was absolutely heartbreaking. Then over time she had to have a trek put in and a feeding tube. She is currently bed ridden with an awful bedsore that was operated on and on oxygen.
My mother was diagnosed with M.S.A. and has been through the unimaginable. She recently has been to 3 hospitals and has been in the hospital the past month. Her medical expenses are enormous ! Ever ything we pay for her care is basically out of pocket, 24/7 for the past decade. My father is going to be 85 and has been doing everything in his power to help his wife. The love they have is remarkable and we never wanted to ask for help but it's time to admit it, we need your help! Please anything can help and would be grately appreciated. She receives zero disability and was denied twice We grew up a happy healthy beautiful family, and we just want to make sure she continues to improve. She wants to survive as long as she can but it doesn't seem as though she can make it much longer. She is so determined and has never given up..
