Hello All,

My name is Madison Williams, and my family has been profoundly affected by the devastating Eaton Fire, which began on the evening of January 7th, 2025—my 29th birthday. Tragically, we lost both my childhood home and my grandparents' home in a single night and are still struggling to process the immense loss we’ve experienced.

The Eaton Fire has deeply impacted the entire Altadena community. Many families, like ours, have experienced heartbreaking loss, with homes and cherished memories taken overnight. Yet, we remain committed to supporting each other as we face the difficult journey of healing and recovery together.

My grandparents had lived in their home for over 50 years. It was a central gathering place for our entire family—where countless holidays and celebrations were shared. My childhood home, where my sister and I grew up, also held a lifetime of memories. Losing both spaces has been incredibly difficult for our family.

While we are grateful to have each other, everything else we’ve ever owned was lost in the fire. Though some things can never be replaced, we’re seeking support to help cover unexpected costs and assist with the many aspects of recovery during this challenging time.
