Alex, Brand New Mum Fighting Cancer
Donation protected
Alex Mckay is a gorgeous, bubbly young 28 year old wife to Rhys and new mum to 10 week old baby "Indiana".
A couple of weeks ago she was diagnosed with an aggressive type of breast Cancer called Invasive Ductal Carinoma.
Instead of focusing all her attention on her beautiful ten week old baby, Alex is preparing for a gruelling 12 month stint of chemotherapy/radiotherapy. The Tumour is roughly 4cm big and they hope to shrink it quickly and get it removed. Hopefully it is a type of Cancer that should respond well to treatment. However being a first time mum, She needs all the help she can get.
Alex was originally planning on going back to work after her maternity leave but now because of her diagnosis is not in a position to do that.
Rhys her loving husband is currently on an apprenticeship, and his wage only just covers their mortgage.
Rhys is doing his very best to make ends meet and provide for his young family, but now because Alex can no longer go back to work, this has put an enormous amount of strain of this young family. They were doing their best but now with the added cost of medical expenses on top of everything else… It’s just too much!
Alex’s biggest heart break is not being able to provide the necessary development toys or clothing for Indiana.
She is scared they will lose their family home that they worked so hard for.
We are putting together this fund to provide a little relief for the McKay family, whether it be to just help provide for little Indiana (the cost of formula now that Alex can now longer breast feed), Or the day to day cost of living expenses/bills, mortgage repayment, or to help cover the cost of some of those medical bills.
A little bit can go a long way.
All proceeds will go toward this little family and help them in a very big way.
THANK YOU!
