Ollie's fight against CHD!
Donation protected
On 22nd February 2016, my beautiful friends Taylah and Jordie welcomed into this world our very own little superhero. Oliver was born with CHD, his condition one of the most complex they had ever seen.
Over the last 4 months since he was born Ollie has not been allowed to come home with his parent's where he belongs and has spent his time between ICU and the ward at the Royal Children's Hospital, he has undergone numerous open heart surgeries, including one at just 3 days old, along with jumping numerous other hurdles, big and small along the way, with future operations already planned in the near and distant future, and many more hurdles to come, there is definietly still a long road ahead.
With Jordie working as much as possible and Taylah off of work, and living at the hospital with Ollie while he is in the ward, and between home and the Ronald McDonald House when in ICU the cost of living does not stop, travelling to and from hospital, not being able to cook for themselves for any meal, the cost of the Ronald McDonald House, parking and everything else that comes along with being away from home, and with the cost of their house also not going away, the financial strain is becoming more and more real with only one income.
I have set up this GoFundMe page up to try and raise some funds to help Taylah and Jordie not only while in hospital but to also purchase the remaining things they will need when Ollie finally comes home from hospital with them, watching them go through everything they have been through, if we can make it just that little bit easier for them by taking some of the financial strain off of their shoulders, we will have done our bit, and can leave them to spend their time giving Ollie all the love and affection the cute little man deserves to help him get better as quickly as possible!
I thank you all for any donation, big or small, and I know Taylah and Jordie will appreciate it beyond words.
