Kesha Thomas Fire Relief Fund
Donation protected
Last week there was a devastating apartment fire in Orlando and Kesha Thomas, a 3rd medical student at UCF College of Medicine, was living in one of the apartments affected by the fire. This fire couldn’t have come at a worse time, while she is finishing up her last weeks on her surgery clerkship and is faced with the challenge of finding a new place to live, replacing all of her belongings, and taking care of her family -- all while trying to continue with her school duties and study requirements. Kesha is the proud mom of two beautiful daughters and one cute dog. Please consider donating to help her and her daughters get back up on their feet. If there are any items you would rather donate instead of money or if you would like to donate money in person, please contact Jackie Babb.
When Kesha Thomas won an award because of her dedication to underserved communities she said: “In my opinion, you’re either part of the problem, or part of the solution, and I want to be part of the solution.”
Let's band together and be a part of her solution!
