Hope for Swannie

My name is Colina Vang. I'm the oldest of 10 and for one, the older sister of Swannie Her (born July 10th 2008). My Swannie was the kind of girl who would wait at the door for you to come home and say, "Hi Jhovanny." And when you responded, "Hi mija," she'd immediately with offense and a scrunched nose respond, "I'm not mija, I'm Swannie." She was the kind of girl who learned how to send letters and wrote about how excited she was to send her first letter to my mom, even though technology existed. She was the baby girl of the family, but that never stopped her curiousity and her strong will of adventure; from swinging on the monkey bars till her hands had blisters - to - riding over sized bikes because she wanted to do the fun things, not sensoring her to life because of her age. My Swannie, my baby, we always joked about how she'd become the model in the family because she was the prettiest.

On June 11th, my Swannie was found unconscious in the water. We are praying and hoping for her to join us again soon. And we are doing what we can as her family to provide her whatever it is that she may need. She has not awaken, but we ask for your support and guidance in this time of need. Everything donated will go straight to:

- Hospital Bills
- Funeral Costs
- Anything else necessary for Swannie

There is no information on how soon or what limited time we have, but anything and everything is appreciated in the earliest time.

The Chang, Her, and Ramirez family give their biggest thanks and deep appreciation for all the familes and friends who are able to contribute to this fund and also to those who have come to see Swannie. In this time of hardship, we continue to be strong for Swannie and are forever grateful for those of you who have stood by us and Swannie till the end.
