I am Tommy's cousin, Paula. Tommy was in a car accident on Sunday. Physically he is fine but feeling overwhelmed monetarily.  His car is a mess as you can see. Please consider donating to help him out. Feel free to share this post. Below is his story...

"Yesterday morning as I was driving to work, a pick up truck ran a red light and t-boned my car. Obviously my day was ruined, but I felt comfortable knowing that I was insured and not at fault. However, the other driver is claiming that they too had a green light and it is now a case of my word against his. I saw there were traffic cameras at the intersection, so I was still confident that I would be found not at fault and covered for the damages. I just learned that the traffic cameras in Lexington are live-feed only. There is no recording of the accident and no witness to back up my claims. Apparently this means that neither of our insurance companies will be paying anything to anyone. So here I am. I am kind of at a loss for how to move forward. I still owe over $2000 on the car through a private loan, and now without a car. If anyone has any tips or secrets to get an insurance company to pay, I am all ears. Definitely starting to feel a little desperate."
