Help The LGBTQ Victims of Orlando!
Deducible
The massacre at Pulse Nightclub in Orlando on the night of June 11, 2016 has affected us all. No matter your background, each of us, in some way, have realized the magnitude of this dispicable attack on the LGBTQ community. However, no one has felt the burden more than the individuals with direct ties to victims who passed away, as well as those who were wounded by the gunman (btw, f**k you gunman).
It is my hope that all who encounter this fundraiser show their support and generosity through monetary donation or simply leaving a post on the fundraiser wall. 100% of all proceeds will go directly to the Equality Florida Institute, an advicocy group that fights for the betterment of Florida's LGBTQ community. They are partnering with the National Center for Victims of Crime, as well as attorneys and experts to ensure donations are funneled directly to the victims and families who are suffering the most. GoFundMe has certified the EFI as a reputable charity and all donations will be allocated to them accordingly

I am currently working with GoFundMe customer support to explore the possibility of tax deductable recipts and write-offs. I will be updating this page periodically and will post pictures of their responses so that you are aware of the legitimacy of your donations.
June 13-19, 2016 is Pride Week here in Portland, Oregon, as well as in Chicago, Denver, and Lousiville to name a few other locations. In honor of the LGBTQ community in Portland, Orlando, and around the world, I've committed to a week-long personal fundraiser of my own. I am a part-time driver for Uber, Enterprises and Lyft, Inc. and am pledging 25% of daily earnings to this fundraiser, while giving shout-outs to my wonderful passengers. After all, it's their money too.
Let's all make a profound difference in the lives of those who have been victimized. Above all, let your voices be heard and declare LOVE always conquers hate.
Have yourself the best day ever, everyday. Thanks you and God Bless.
