Struggling father of 4 kids

A friend of mine, and brother in Christ, has always been able to provide for his family. But, since covid struck, he has been without a job and looking for work. He has struggled just to provide food and medicine for his four children and to cover the utility expenses. He had fallen behind on his rent by several months and his landlord was about to evict him and his children if he didn't pay up. Thank God for the kind hearted, caring people who have donated! The rent is now caught up and he's no longer facing eviction (for the moment). Unfortunately, he's still having trouble finding steady work. He manages small odd and end jobs, but they barely cover food expenses or medicines his children need for medical conditions. 

He is a very proud man, and struggles just to ask me for help. But there's only so much that I can do to help him on my own.

The initial goal was set only to help him catch up on rent so that they would not be evicted. But, there are often times that the small jobs he finds do not pay enough to feed his four children. So, upon request, I've raised the goal amount to $2000 in hopes that we can pull together to provide for his children while he continues his daily search for work. We continue praying that he will find steady work to get back on his feet. 

As a mother, I can't just sit back and allow these children to starve and be homeless without trying to do something to prevent it.

So, please, if you have a heart, help this man provide for his children. These children are our future!
