Dan Madigan's Medical Bills

Hi everyone, my name is Dustin and I am creating this fundraiser for my father Dan Madigan. My father was diagnosed with Liver Cancer in October 2015. Since finding this out he has had two radiation treatments. The first treatment took very well and things were looking very positive. He went for another MRI a few weeks later and found out the second lobe of his liver had another tumor present. He went in again for treatment and this time was unsuccesful. So at this point the liver transplant (the cure) was off the table because he could not meet the criteria of shrinking the tumor. At this point the doctors let him know the only option for him was targeted Chemotherapy in the form of a pill. At this point he and the family decided it was time for a second opinion. We called Cancer Treatment Center of America and got him scheduled. He spent about two weeks there having a battery of tests administered to come to the conclusion there are no other options for him besides for the Chemo-Pill, keeping in mind this pill is NOT a cure it is only supposed to double whatever life expectancy is already in place. This type of Liver Cancer there are no "stages" and the doctors could not tell us a ballpark of how much longer he has. So he returned home and started the Chemo. The main purpose for the donations would be used to assist in medical bills. Due to his condition he is not going to be able to return to work and the medical bills are building up quick. This is downright the single most difficult thing our family has been faced with. If you know my father he is absolutley the MOST selfless person you could have the honer to meet. The majority of our lives he has given without having his hand out looking for something in return. Anybody that knows him knows he is not the type of person to ask for anything. It was the families decision to create this page because we don't want the time he has left to be a financal struggle. Stress is a key factor in anyones health and we know that it is something he has been very modest about. Any help will be greatly appreciated and there are no words to express our gratitude.
