Horrific dog attack: victim needs support

My sister Candis is a mom of five children, hard working and big-hearted. She was attacked by two dogs while trying to help a neighbor on the afternoon of January 28, 2021 and is undergoing surgery to have one leg amputated with the possibility of the second leg if they aren’t able to save it. Money raised will go towards her hospital bills and legal fees against this man who should not have allowed his dogs to be loose knowing full well how dangerous they are. She is alive and that’s what matters most but it’s going to be a long road to recovery.. We are devastated. Anything helps, even just sharing a link to this.

Update Jan 29: Candis made it through her first surgery last night successfully, with unexpected news to us that they have only taken her foot so far and they are bringing in specialists to see what they may be able to save of the rest of her leg. Her vitals looked good and we take comfort in knowing how strong she is.. thank you everyone that has donated so far, my family can’t thank you enough for your help and kindness
