Molly's Medical Treatment

Hi! I trying to raise a minimum of $5,000 to cover the residential healthcare treatment my doctors have advised to keep me alive. I was notified a few days ago now that St Lawrence University insurance does not fully cover these fees; I am expected to pay it out of pocket. It will be a baseline of $4,500 for a thirty-day stay, which does not include the transportation there which I will need to find myself, or the possibility of having to stay for six weeks instead of four.

If you want to hear my story or how I got into this position, I would appreciate it if you would read the letter below. If you saw me speak at Take Back the Night this semester, you know how I sometimes tend to elongate the story for the sake of flow, but I promise to try and keep it short!

Wow, I am so overwhelmed by gratitude right now and there is no way I can ever thank you all enough for giving me a chance. I am going to keep fundraising so that I have a cushion for continued care/travel expenses/ medical expenses as well as to use just in case I need to extend my stay to the six weeks. Thank you. I will never forget the kindness I have been shown these past few days. I promise I wont waste this chance you all gave me.
