Lowell Wayment Memorial Service

We often get hit with the unexpected and that was true yesterday. My father, Lowell Wayment passed away at 5:05 pm at Scripps Memorial Hospital. In those last moments, he was surrounded by family that loved him and we celebrated all the best Papa Wayment stories. A small miracle enabled us in those last hours to converse with those that could not be there, even a missionary grandson out of the country…and I heard him say to one of his grandchildren: “Thank you for making me Papa Wayment”.
Before leaving he left instructions on how to best plant and keep his garden growing and producing those delicious vegetables that he had mastered. I remember years ago his father, my grandfather, told me what a great farmer he was. He still wanted to golf and hoped the greens would be good on the other side. If you are out this Friday, think of him when you are making that chip shot onto the green. He charged us all to take care of mom and apologized for being a burden. He looked forward to seeing his mother, father and brother Stanton who he loved and missed so much. He is at peace now.
We are planning on funeral services on June 24th at the Hemet Stake Center on 425 N Kirby St, Hemet, CA 92545. The services will begin at 11 am. A viewing will be held prior from 9:00 to 10:30 am.
A graveside servcie will be held later at his ancetral home in Warren, Utah and buried in his family plot. We will update this site and others as more information is available. I have put together this GoFundMe site to aid toward his funeral expenses. We truly appreciate your generosity. I have been touched by the number of people that have supported and cared for our family through this difficult time. May God bless you.
