Native Edge Spirits tries to grow

Hello, My name is Son Allison. My partner Tim Feeney and  I are the founders  of www.NativeEdgeSpirits.com

We are an award winning Artisinal Spirits company that started a few months ago. As a matter of fact, last week we just won a gold and silver medal at The New York World Wine and Spirits Competition. Not bad for two guys who are doing this by the seat of our pants.

We are basically, two regular guys who work 70 to 100 hours a week trying to survive in this crazy economy. 

 
Years ago, I developed a unique liqueur.  You see every culture in the world has a little something that people drink when when they are feelin a little down or not quite right. Your grandparents in the small mountain village might take a little shot to lift the spirits or your dad on a cold winter night to warm the bones. Maybe, someone pulls out a little something special to celebrate a birth, a wedding or just to say goodbye to a loved one. Well, my liqueur was made for all those situations. It was created to celebrate all the major events of your life and the little ones too. I made it to celebrate life.

I call it "Native Heat". Its a little Spicy and a little sweet. Not too much of either just the right amount. He is powerful and a little intimidating. He brings out the adventure seeker in you, the traveler and the warrior. He doesn't club you over the head with his heat. He embraces you in his warmth.  He is defiantly masculine. No safe zones, no apologies and no fear. He seeks the lonely places and the difficult challenges of life because...
He writes his own story. Will you?
 
There is one other. We affectionately nicknamed "The Grand Marnier Killer" ( no disrespect to Grand Marnier, I love them.) Her name is "Mandarin Heat " and she is gorgeous. exotic, sophisticated and elegant. She is soft, sweet and spicy with a burn that just makes you want to come back for more. Mandarin Heat is unapologetically feminine. She is addictive in a seductively intelligent sort of way.  People can't explain it. Her taste lingers on your tongue for hours and she haunts your memories.
 
Imagine, a seedy run down dive bar. Everyone a little bit shady, a little beaten down by life. They have all seen better days. It's cold and rainy outside, the wind is howling and the world is miserable. The door opens and a small shivering wet figure comes through. Everyone turns as she removes her coat. Dead silence as not one soul takes a breath. She catches their attention, she smiles and everyone breathes again. She laughs, she dances and her spirit makes everyone feel as if they are the only ones in the room. That moment of stunned silence and complete joy. That is what you will always remember and that essence is what I put in this elixir. Her scent, smile, taste, strength and vunerablility. Her womanhood. She is still writing her own story. Are you?

We make it here at a locally owned distillery a stones throw from New York City. The heats source comes from 100% pure cane spirits( alcohol made from sugar cane). We hand craft each batch. I personally supervise the production and the careful addition of each ingredient one at a time like organic chili peppers, organic spices and sugar. We are gluten free and kosher certified

 
We just won these awards and are now considered some of the best in the world. With that said, our momentum has stalled.

With a very limited production run of under 500 bottles each we are in a unique situation as a small batch artisinal distiller we  have exclusivity however, we can't make another batch until we sell this one.

Tim and I are very proud of the fact that we "boot strapped" this first batch  with no loan, no investors. Just our own money and nothing else. Whenever something needed to get paid, overtime was done and it was paid. This was a multi- year process before we even started the company.

What we need is a brand ambassador to help sell and market our products. We need a distributor and a marketing budget. All of this takes funds we don't have. We are looking to alternative funding such as GoFundMe to help with this.We built something out of nothing and we want to see it grow. We are looking for $100,000 to fund a new batch, hire a brand ambassador and to assist with marketing and distribution.

Your support will allow us to realize our dream of independence, to support local artists and other small businesses. Our goal is  to leave a long lasting positive legacy behind. We are writing our own story and we want it to be a timeless classic.
