Help a refugee young woman

For the past 5 years, I have been supporting a young man who is a victim of sexual assault. 

She has been through so much throughout her young life. She had a baby at a young age after being assaulted. None of it is her fault. She lost both of her parents and was left to take care of her little sister.  

I raised over $3,000 years ago to help her escape. I was able to bring her, the baby and her sibling to refugee camp. For the past days, I have been working very hard on her case once again. Men have been harassing this young woman and asking to get married to her. Last year, a man in his 70s wanted to marry her but I stopped this from happening even though some of her family agreed. 

Now, another man is asking to marry her. She has no intentions of doing this but she is not safe.  The people who want her to get married to a man in his 60-70s have been making phone calls. One man said “ no one is going to marry her. She had a child without marriage. This is her chance.” He wanted to make it seem like that was the only man who will ever want her. She’s not even safe where she resides now because these men live in the same area as her. 

If money wasn’t an issue, we would move her to another town in Kenya, and buy her a small house to live. But this would cost us  over 30k. That’s a lot of money to come up with. 

She would live there until she gets refugee status to relocate to the USA.  We have another option. The rent in this town in Kenya is around $400 with everything included for a small house with two bedrooms. That means we would have to come up with $4,800 to cover for her rent for an entire year. We already raised $1,800 for her education/ babysitting fees, and to cover other expenses.
