**Update: doctors have found something on his lung. My sister and brother-in-law will be meeting with the doctors later today to discuss treatment options. He has been diagnosed with osteosarcoma.

This is my nephew, Mason. He is 8 years old, the youngest of 4 children. Over the weekend, my sister had taken him to urgent care, as he was complaining of pain in his leg and having a hard time walking. While at urgent care, an X-ray was done, which was concerning. My sister immediately took him to CHOP, where all of our biggest fears where confirmed. Mason has cancer in his bones. While we do not know the severity of the cancer as of yet, the diagnosis is devastating. Mason will be having a biopsy done today, as well as surgery to have a port implanted. I have created this account to help my sister and her family, as Mason will be undergoing chemotherapy and hospitalizations for the unforeseeable future. Any money raised will go towards gas, bills and any income my sister and brother in law will miss due to missing work to care for Mason. If you are unable to donate, please share.
