Even Heroes Need Assistance
Genea is a 41 year old RN, and mother of 3 beautiful daughters, who contracted COVID 19 for the second time. She is currently fighting for her life on a ventilator, and ECMO Machine (Extracorporeal Membrane Oxygenation ), which provides lung, and heart support for the body . In order to receive the best treatment possible her family is hoping to have her transferred from her current location, to AdventHealth in Orlando, which has a COVID-19 survival rate of 70-80% using ECMO, which is significantly higher than the national average of 55% . The cost to transfer her is $7,000, which unfortunately her Insurance will not cover . We’re asking for financial support to ensure that our Super Hero In Scrubs gets the life-saving treatment she needs . All additional funds will go towards her household expenses, and taking care of her children until she recovers .
A little more about Genea
