Each Other's Angel: Angel Colon
Donation protected
Hello, my name is Logan Ganier, and I live in Orlando, FL. I'm starting this fundraiser for my dear friend, Angel, so we can provide him with additional support for his recovery. I will personally handle the delivery of the proceeds to Angel Colon, as well as ensure ALL PROCEEDS go directly to Angel Colon and his recovery expenses. Thank you.
Angel Colon is a personal friend of mine who's a survivor of the Orlando massacre at Pulse nightclub. Upon hearing the gunshots and seeing the person next to him suddenly drop to the ground, Angel pushed a friend of his out of harm's way and took six bullets for her. Luckily he survived along with his friend! Now Angel is hospitalized and on a long road to recovery, regaining his ability to walk again through countless hours of physical rehabilitation and therapy. During this time he will be unable to work and pay for the most basic of living expenses - let alone the insurmountable medical expenses to follow. Like most young individuals in the Central Florida area, Angel works in the hospitality industry and depends on his mobility to make a living wage. I cannot allow my friend - a HERO - to suffer more so than he already has, so I plan on raising as much as possible to help Angel have a smooth and care-free recovery without having to shoulder the burden of lost income and impending medical bills.
Here's your chance to make a difference, to make a direct impact on someone's life who risked his own saving another. We can all hope to be as strong and courageous as this man, though I hope none of you ever have to be in such a situation. One thing this Angel has taught me is that we can ALL be Each Other's Angel.
Thank you, and God bless.
