Supporting the family of Teresa Pittman

On January 22nd, Teresa was admitted to Northfield hospital with pneumonia related to Covid-19. She had been getting great care and was improving as far as her treatment team was concerned but, on the evening of February 1st, Teresa suffered from a hemorrhagic stroke. The team at Northfield worked quickly to stabilize her and transport her to Abbott hospital where she was placed on the neuro-ICU. Her team there worked tirelessly to control the bleeding and swelling in her brain, keep her comfortable, and give her the best chance possible. It is with deep sorrow that we share the news that Teresa’s stroke was unsurvivable. On February 9th, surrounded by her family, Teresa was called home to be with her Lord and Savior and reunited with her family and friends that have gone before her. At this time we ask that you surround Teresa’s husband Mark, and the rest of her family with love and prayer for peace and healing.
