In Memorial of Ashley Jackson- for Seti

Ashley E. Jackson, known by many as "AJ", passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, June 21. 2023.

Words can’t describe how much her family and friends will miss her. She lit up every room with her smile and vibrant energy. We know that Ashley touched many lives, was well-loved, and will be missed by many.

Ashley received her Bachelor of Science at Ohio State University. She worked diligently, and her presence in her community was very impactful.

In recent years, she joined Zanzi Oakland as an integral team member. She also served as a substitute teacher at Chabot Elementary in Oakland. Additionally, Ashley worked at Safe Passages as an After School Instructor for 1st-grade students, taught STEM, and ran a book club.

She received her certification as PMU and BB Glow specialist and was looking into starting her own business.

The sudden loss has devastated our family, and as we grapple with the reality of her unexpected absence, we ask that you help us honor her.

In her passing, Ashley leaves behind her 5-year-old son, Seti. Ashley’s love for Seti was unconditional and everlasting. Our hearts ache knowing he won’t have his loving mother by his side, but she will be watching over him as he moves through life.

We hope to raise money to go towards any educational and personal expenses Seti may have in the future. We appreciate any and all contributions and are truly grateful for everyone’s support.
