After the most heartbreaking loss yesterday we have made the decision that we would like to request donations instead of flowers at this difficult time in memory of dad.
We know that dad was adored by all that looked after him in Colchester’s Critical Care Unit, he was the star of ICU when he managed to breathe unassisted coming off of the ventilator and we know how deeply the staff took dad’s deterioration and passing.
So we would like to raise as much money as we can, to give directly to the nurses and doctors that looked after dad so that they can do as they wish with the money. We will suggest to them, that dad would have wanted them to all go out and have a big piss up in his honour. And we also think they completely deserve it after this pandemic eases off for them.
