On Friday February 12, 2021 Stanley Freeman JR, a 16 year old student at Austin East High School was wrongfully gunned down leaving school. After being shot, He drove, trying to get away wrecking his car. Several by standers stood by recording as they waited for emergency officials to arrive. Stanley passed away alone. No one took a second to console him in his last moments, no one held his hand. Stanley was simply leaving school. He was scheduled to work his shift at McDonald’s at 430pm that day, which he would never arrive. Stanley Freeman a honorable student was determined to reach his goals of attending college and becoming a student athlete. He leaves behind his mother and father, a very devoted grandmother, 6 siblings and a family who loved him so dearly. Because this senseless tragedy happened unexpectedly, we are asking the community to help give Stanley the home going celebration that he deserves as well as the means to offer a reward for information. We demand justice.
