Need Help Surviving

Hi, my name is Jacqueline Fakhrahmad. I am married and we have two children, 6 and 2. We have another baby on the way, due September 20th, 2016. I am a veteran. I got injured February 24th, 2015 and was seperated from the United States Navy and have been unable to get the proper support I need from the VA. The past year or so has been filled with struggles for me and my family. I was the primary income for my family and when I got discharged and sent home, my husband had to quickly find any job available. He is a waiter at a small restaurant here in our town. He has been applying online to different jobs, and submitting his resumes to job sites as well as taking on a second job. My husband has two forms of back disorders, and the two jobs wore him down and his health took a hit. With his job now, we cannot survive. We have had to let our credit go bad and have debts that we cannot pay back until we get the funds to do so. We are also late with our car payment and are late with our mortgage and we are struggling to get the funds for both.

When we found out we were pregnant, we thought it impossible because we took precautionary measures, but we believe everything happens for a reason and we are trying to do our best in this situation. Most of our baby items from our previous pregnancy were ruined when our storage area was flooded. We are slowly regaining those items through some donations and some help from family, but family can only help so much. I normally don't ask for help, because I feel there are worse cases out there, but because I have two small children and one on the way, I have to do anything I can to make sure that they are taken care of. I am planning on returning to school in the Spring after this baby is born so I can work towards my degree to hopefully get our family back on track, since I cannot depend on the VA to help me.

We are looking for any donation that would help us and every little bit is much appreciated. We're hoping to get enough to help pay off some debts that need to be paid off to help reduce the amount we have to pay each month. Our mortgage is due the 1st of the month and our car on the 6th. We are almost two months behind on our car and one month on our mortgage. Words cannot describe how much we thank people for taking their time to read our story and help us.
