Help Kahlua Regain Her Sight

Hello. My name is Kahlua. I am 7 years old and I am blind. I just recently lost my sight because of cataracts which are the result of me having diabetes. I was diagnosed with diabetes in March 2016. My grandma (Connie Kingsbury) found an eye specialist for dogs and she says she can do surgery to help me see again BUT the surgery is expensive. My mom (Jennifer Champagne) and my Grandma are hoping that their family and friends will help with this unexpected expense. Please read through the entire post before making a decision.
The total amount that needs to be raised is $5,000 and the numbers break down as follows: $950 for pre-op blood work and eye testing --- $3,500 for the actual surgery and $550 for 5 follow-up visits that are needed the first month after I have surgery.

Grandma called the specialists office to see if donations could be sent there directly but was told they don't have enough staff to do that.
A few reasons why I want to see again. I want to see the deer again in Ocean Shores whenever Grandma takes us for a ride in the car. I want to be able to see when I go to the beach and not stumble into and over things. I want to be able to see people as they approach me to rub my belly. But the number one reason is ------ I want to be able to see my mom and Grandma's face when I look at them.
Please consider helping them out so I can have the surgery as soon as possible. Woof Woof (that's Thank You in dog).
