Starving Artist Emergency Fund

Hi Folks, I appreciate that we all work hard for the money we earn and deserve. I have a hard time asking for help when I need it. I am accustom to being the one who helps others, not needing help. It feels weird.

However, For the last 2 years, I have struggled to make a living with my art, plus find a job. I am a 30 year veteran entreprenuer and artist, and was once a sales and marketing specialist, but I am 59 and not as desirable a candidate in my field any longer. I  work weekends with my art at shows, but income has dwindled so badly (I am told due to an election year and the negative energy around that scenario),  that I cannot seem to catch up on bills in arrears, and cannot seem to find enough other work to pay a minimum of my bills, nor care for emergencies.

My AC in my apartment has gone up 3 times this summer, and I am not allowed to ask for one more repair from the landlady, since I have not paid the rent in 4 months.  She has been so kind allowing me to stay here, as I am a 20 year tenant, She knows I am making every effort to pay my debt. 

I would love to sell my nature photography full time. I have tried to get grants to get me started with framing, matting, and prints for gallery shows, but never have that extra money.

I have 2 turn off notices, and an eviction notice on the way, if I do not come up with at least 2,000 by Sept 12th.  Social services is not helping me.  My family is tapped out too. Everyone is hurting this year. 

I need $2,000 for rent Immediately, and another 1,000 for truck repairs to get to shows and a job, and some start-up fees for art prints, matts, and frames for gallery shows.

If you know of anybody who would fund a gallery in White Marsh Maryland,let me know, I am seeking space and a sponsor as well.  I am also seeking sites and wellness centers for gallery space to show my work, and pop-up space for myself and several artists' work to have a holiday art show!!
