Remembering Lillian June

“Praise be to God the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves receive from God.” 2 Corinthians 1:3-4
Lillian June Johnson was a beautiful gift from God to be born on December 26th, 2016. She would be the 2nd child to Stephen and Ciara and a little sister to Noah. She would be the apple of her daddy’s eye and a little helper to her mommy. She would be welcomed with tears of joy, smiles and laughter. She would be a daughter, sister, niece, granddaughter and cousin. Our family was preparing a place for her here on this earth. On June 18th, 2016, Lillian June briefly entered this world, only to return home to her Heavenly Father. Our smiles, laughter and tears of joy quickly turned to heartache, emptiness and tears of sadness. Stephen and Ciara entered a reality they never wanted to experience.
Along with losing their daughter, Ciara’s life was also in danger. She was rushed to the hospital by squad and taken back for emergency surgery. Ciara required significant intervention and Stephen was there by her side, ensuring his wife was okay. Stephen and Ciara were faced with multiple road blocks during their hospital stay and faced extreme confusion, frustration and exhaustion. Stephen and Ciara were discharged home, except, without their sweet Lillian.
From the minute they returned home, our loving God surrounded them with His grace and compassion. Family and friends began to pour into their family and help in any way possible. They have begun the healing process, but it will be a long process which only our Lord Jesus can carry them through. While they heal emotionally and physically, they will be facing a new challenge. This life changing event comes with a monetary cost as well. All of the unexpected expenses incurred from the squad, emergency room visit, OR and recovery have left them with a heavy burden financially. That is why we are asking for your help. While flowers and gifts of condolences are always appreciated, a financial donation would help ease the financial weight. As you consider donating, please pray comfort, peace and blessings over this sweet family. The devil has not won. Lillian’s story will be told and Stephen and Ciara will be blessed with life again.
Thank you for supporting the Johnsons!
