Erika & Baby Blacker

I am creating this page to hopefully help Erika after the unexpected and tragic death of her husband Robert Blacker. Robert and Erika recently found out they are expecting their first child in December 2016 and were both over the moon! On June 16th they went to Roberts’s uncle’s house to help his uncle and spend some time with their family. Robert was on an ATV with a small trailer attached to the back that he was collecting limbs in when a tree fell striking him while on the ATV. His wife tried to preform CPR as she is a CNA and nursing student but was unable to get Roberts heart going after the accident. Paramedics arrived and were able to free him from under the tree and get him to a hospital where he later lost his life. We are still not sure what caused the tree to fall as no one was cutting or pulling on it. Both Robert and Erika are a few of the nicest people you could ever meet. They would both give a stranger the shirt off their back and would pretty much to anything to help a friend or family member out. They are people who are often doing something for someone else rather than doing for themselves. With funeral arrangements, medical bills and the cost of Erika needing to be off work to grieve and take care of herself and their unborn baby I am asking that we all pull together and be there for her and baby Blacker just as they would do for any of us.
