Hello, My name is Diamond Scott. I am a rising junior, health science major, at Lincoln University of PA. I hail from Piscataway, NJ and graduated from Piscataway High School in 2014.
As most of you may know I am very passionate about music. My interest in music began in the fourth grade were I began to learn how to play the tuba after seven and a half years of playing trombone and I absolutlely loved it. I currently play the Tuba for Lincoln University Marching Band. Being in the Orange Crush band program at my school has taught me about leadership, time mangement, and confidence.
During my sophomore year, I joined Tau Beta Sigma National Honorary Band Sorority. I was led to join this sorority do to the impact the organization had on my peers. I recently just crossed over this April 2016 and am proud to say "It is a honor to be selected to serve". This organization has shaped me into a stronger leader and insalled in me characteristcs that have shaped me into a stronger women.
I am raising funds in hopes to continue my higher education at Lincoln University of PA. As a 20 year old young woman, my grandmother has put forth the effort to help me finish my higher education at Lincon University of PA. After recent circumstances, it is imperative to find other ways for me to be able to afford my higher education. Trying to take the burden off my grandmother I decided to raise funds.
The $1,200 dollars willl be used to help pay my remaining tuition. Lincoln University of PA has offered me scholarships for both band and softball. Leaving my grandmother to pay the rest of my tuition for higher education. Due to my new circumstances, I hope that raising funds will help cut down the amout of tuition that needs to be paid.
