Guerrero Family fund
Donation protected
The Guerrero family lost their trailer home due to a fire on Jan 26, 2021. Everyone survived the incident, but all of their furniture and most of their belongings were lost in the fire. Now they are faced with a mountain of expenses and have no place to live. They have to pay for the disposal of the trailer, come up with money to rent a new place (deposit and first month’s rent), buy items for their basic everyday needs, and buy cleaning supplies and storage supplies to salvage as much as they can from what is left of their home. Right now, they are staying at a friend's house until they figure things out.
The family’s need are immediate, as they need to both pay for the trailer disposal and find a place to live. What is most needed is money as they really need a place to stay. Luckily, both parents are working to support themselves and their three children (ages 15, 9, 6) but this unanticipated, tragic situation requires more than their means can supply, which is why we are asking for additional help from friends, family, and the community in general.
If you would prefer to donate other items (hygiene products, clothes, furniture, household items, etc), please contact me via e-mail and I will reach out to the family. The number one priority is to help them fund a new home, as they do not have anywhere to put donations they might receive until they find a place to live.
If you know Chuy and Karina, you know that they are very kind, friendly people who are always looking at the bright side of things. At this moment, they thank God they are all alive and are positive things will work out.
Thank you in advance for your support. Please help us spread the word - every little bit will help and it is greatly appreciated.
