Funds to help Jeff Guth
Sometimes we are lucky enough in life to have that “go-to” person that we can count on when we are in need. The person that drops everything and is knocking at your front door to help. Jeff Guth is this person to countless people. Jeff has used his hands to not only make a living for his family for 30 years but also to assist others in need more times than any of us can imagine. His dedication to his wife, two children, family and friends are what define him.
Jeff is an independent contractor installing doors for one of the big home improvement stores. He’s been at this now for almost 18 years. The pride he shows in work is evidenced by his many “Installer of the Year” awards – an award achieved solely through the outstanding feedback received from his satisfied customers. Jeff leaves such an impression that many customers stay in touch with him for years to come.
Recently, during a normal evening in his workshop, a table saw accident severed Jeff’s thumb, pointer and middle fingers. After 11+ hours of multiple surgeries Jeff is left with a missing middle finger with the other two fingers reattached but badly damaged – the final outcome of these two reattached fingers is unclear. As is common with this type injury, Jeff will undergo several months, if not years of physical therapy, as well as additional surgeries to try to regain the full use of his hand which is essential for his job.
Jeff will work again. It’s in his DNA to do so. But his road to recovery will be long and his medical bills are only partially covered by insurance. Mounting medical bills and a significant loss in family income can financially sink any family – and it happens fast.
We understand times are tough for many but for those of us that can possibly give, we ask that you please consider extending Jeff a lifeline – a bridge of financial support until he is back on his feet. Any help is appreciated either through a donation or by sharing this link with your friends and family. Thank you.
