On June 25, I formally announced my candidacy for sheriff of Cameron County. I was elated to see the show of support at my announcement. I have long-wished for positive change in our county by bringing fresh ideas and solutions to the sheriff's office. For this reason, I've decided to seek this office.
Since my formal announcement it's has been a long rough road paving the way to a November victory against the incumbent sheriff.
In order to continue in this path towards a November victory, I must conduct an aggressive campaign that will help me achieve this goal and defeat my Democratic opponent this November.
For this final part of the campaign to be successful, It will require a strong, well-organized, grassroots operation. My team and I have been distributing push cards throughout Cameron County. We have purchased signs, newspapers ads, mail out ads and I have attended several functions to become better acquainted with the residents of the county.
However, my team and my funds are limited. Therefore, I am asking for donations and volunteers to help me in this aggressive campaign against my opponent.
