Matthew Geis - Race Across the West

In partnership with sponsor Eddy’s Bike Shop of Stow, OH - Ohio CycleWorks Charities will be helping the youth of Portage and Summit County OH.  

“A Christmas in July” will aim to provide bicycles to children who's families have been significantly effected by a COVID ravaged year leading to poverty and difficult financial circumstance. Part of proceeds will also support bikes for kids at Akron Children’s Hospital.   For every $250.00 raised we’ll be able to provide a child a gift card for a bike and related accessories during an event in the summer of 2021.  The event will be held at Eddy’s bike shop of Stow.  

Malinda and I will personally match every gift of $100 or more for a total of up to $5,000 towards this fundraiser.  

Individual Sponsor Levels 

$100 - Malinda and I will personally match every $100+ gift up to a total of $5,000

$250 - Buy a child a bicycle 

$500 - Sponsor one of the 14 time stations I’ll pass through during the 930 miles 

$1,000 - Sponsor the start or finish line

Our goal will be to provide 100 bikes to boys and girls of Portage and Summit County.
