Jose Medrano is a 24 year old intelligent, caring, funny, generous, responsible person. He is a real team player who will help anybody in need.
He has been part of our family at BMW/MINI of Sterling since March 2012. He is well respected and much loved by all his co-workers.
Jose is passionate about his family and life and he shows it in everything he does. Jose is very close to his parents and sister, who adore him and think the world of him. He has been an inspiration and an example to all of those who know him. He takes real good care of himself, healthy food and exercise are very important to him.
Jose was diagnosed with primary mediastinal extra-gonadal germ cell tumor. He has completed 4 cycles of BEP chemotherapy from October 2015 to January 2016. He has failed regular chemotherapy and now has refractory disease. Autologous Stem Cell Transplant is the only hope for his survival and it is very important that he receive it as soon as possible.
Jose has not been able to work since October 2015 and has no health insurance. Throughout several hospital stays and chemotherapy treatments, increasing medical expenses are way more than the family can afford. In order to undergo this costly procedure, he is in desperate need of financial support.
