Help Barbara have life saving surgery

Hi everyone, I am reaching out to every corner of this earth to help raise money for one of the most selfless, loving people I have ever been blessed to know. Anyone who has met her, has loved her instantly. She is everyone’s best friend, big sister, and mom. From two legged humans to the four legged babies and even the wildlife on her backyard, her door is open and she’s always been there to help. So now I’m asking for help for her.
Barbara is in need of a robot repair paraesophageal reversal with mesh. A few years ago she had a hiatal hernia repair, the repair was done too tight (fundoplication surgery). As time has gone on eating and now drinking have become extremely difficult and painful for her. You see when she eats or drinks, her esophagus is bent, or narrowed in a couple of spots before opening up into her stomach. Imagine trying to eat or drink and it all sitting in your esophagus, causing pain and most of the time the only option your body has left is to vomit to remove the obstruction.
I have watched my friend in these past few months deteriorate physically. Her condition is starving her slowly to death. Even in her darkest moments she’s been a light for her friends and family in our time of need.
She finally found a specialist that can perform the surgery that could save her life, as there are only 3 in the country that are familiar with her prognosis. As we all know health insurance doesn’t cover everything, and with all her tests and multiple doctor appointments, copayments and deductibles add up. The hospital is already asking for her copayment upfront before she can be admitted for surgery at the end of the Month!!! This is where you come in, we need your help to raise the money to secure her surgery date and to take the additional stress of having to owe thousands of dollars after surgery.
